Seasons Givings Blog Hop

Hero Arts

Hello and Happy New Year! Today we are honored to join a huge annual blog hop, a concept started by Latisha Yoast to say "THANK YOU!" to our wonderful blog readers and share some extra goodies. Be sure to scroll down to the end of this post for the giveaway info, as well as the list of companies and bloggers participating. Every single blog along this hop is sharing a giveaway! You won't want to miss it!

But first, Ilina is here to share a little New Year's cheer with you! Take it away, Ilina!

Hi everyone, Happy New 2019!!! This is Ilina and in the spirit of the new year I am sharing an elegant (black and gold) New Year's day card featuring the Party Confetti Fancy Die along with the Wishes Stamp & Cut set.

To make the card I started with die cutting the Party Confetti Fancy Die from shimmery black card stock and set it aside. Next I die cut the Wishes sentiment from the Stamp & Cut set. I did this twice from gold card stock and adhered the die cuts together.

Next on piece of vellum I stamped "Sending New Year's" with Versamark and embossed with Gold embossing powder. Using the Circle Infinity Dies I die cut a circle. Adhered the "Wishes" die cut to the vellum circle and let it dry.

In the meantime I adhered the black die cut to a gold top folding note card. Adhered the vellum circle, trimmed the side a little and added few Champagne sequins to finish the card off.

For our giveaway, we're offering all of the products Ilina used on today's card! That's a prize package valued at $86 retail! To enter, let us know your goal for the coming year. You have until Friday, January 4 at 11:59pm PST to enter, and we'll announce the winner the following week.

And now for the hop list - it's a long one, but full of fabulous giveaways! Have fun hopping along!

My goal is to make 20 cards a week this year. So far, in this first week, I have made 8 birthday cards, 5 Christmas cards for next year, and 4 other cards, leaving 3 to make tomorrow, when I have the whole day free. I have also made 8 backgrounds to be used later. I know that I have to pace myself so I don’t burn out, so I intersperse my crafting with other activities.

I make cards for all the people in the continuing care retirement community where I live, friends and family members, children of friends, and others—altogether around 500 people. I hope to give each person at least a birthday card and a Christmas card this year. I am a Deacon in my church and I consider it my ministry. I started it because so many people in our nursing unit never received any mail at all.

Everyone that has joined the hop giving are so kind and thoughtful. Thank you!

My crafty goal for 2019 is just to make more cards. There are some days that I am not in the mood. After all the crafty stuff I have I should spend more time crafting.

My major goal is to get accepted into a Dental Hygiene Program.

My goal for 2019 is get better with my health issues so I can better my craft abilities so I can post the different techniques and introduce them to my Puerto Rican community in Spanish and everyone else that wants to join me for my advantage is that I can translate in English any doubts since I am completely bilingual for being raised in New York City, then lived in my home land for 35 years and since I have been really badly sick I have been between Texas and PR for the past 3 years.

God Bless you all and happy crafting. Thank you all for your tutorials that help us all.

My goals for next year are simple: first, finish the eight papercraft projects that need finishing; second, finish the three embroidery projects that are left; and last, work on three new designs. These and others will—in nineteenth-century parlance—keep me out of the oyster cellars and saloons.
