Seasons Givings Blog Hop

Hero Arts

Hello and Happy New Year! Today we are honored to join a huge annual blog hop, a concept started by Latisha Yoast to say "THANK YOU!" to our wonderful blog readers and share some extra goodies. Be sure to scroll down to the end of this post for the giveaway info, as well as the list of companies and bloggers participating. Every single blog along this hop is sharing a giveaway! You won't want to miss it!

But first, Ilina is here to share a little New Year's cheer with you! Take it away, Ilina!

Hi everyone, Happy New 2019!!! This is Ilina and in the spirit of the new year I am sharing an elegant (black and gold) New Year's day card featuring the Party Confetti Fancy Die along with the Wishes Stamp & Cut set.

To make the card I started with die cutting the Party Confetti Fancy Die from shimmery black card stock and set it aside. Next I die cut the Wishes sentiment from the Stamp & Cut set. I did this twice from gold card stock and adhered the die cuts together.

Next on piece of vellum I stamped "Sending New Year's" with Versamark and embossed with Gold embossing powder. Using the Circle Infinity Dies I die cut a circle. Adhered the "Wishes" die cut to the vellum circle and let it dry.

In the meantime I adhered the black die cut to a gold top folding note card. Adhered the vellum circle, trimmed the side a little and added few Champagne sequins to finish the card off.

For our giveaway, we're offering all of the products Ilina used on today's card! That's a prize package valued at $86 retail! To enter, let us know your goal for the coming year. You have until Friday, January 4 at 11:59pm PST to enter, and we'll announce the winner the following week.

And now for the hop list - it's a long one, but full of fabulous giveaways! Have fun hopping along!

After breaking my hip two days after Thanksgiving, I realized how important it is to have your cards done early as you don’t know what’s around the corner. In other words, don’t procrastinate in doing anything. You never know when your world can be upside down. I didn’t even get a card made for my husband and best friend, which broke my heart. As far as things to help my crafting, I just can’t seem to get that bar magnet ordered. Sure would like to try one, for sure.

My goal is to actually spend for the things I need, without going nuts of course. I have stamps, but need more ink and paper. I have some copics, but not some that blend well with each other. I plan to pick a project and purchase everything I need for it, I feel like it will help me become more excited about creating.

Happy New Year! Thank you for sponsoring Seasons Giving hop Hero Arts! My goal is to round up some extra supplies from the craft room and pass them onto my crafty friends!

My goal for 2019 is to live less stressful and create and share more.

Wow! What a wonderful card! I especially love the “Wishes” die cut. So pretty. My goals this year include trying to be healthier as I’ve had a really hard 2018 when it comes to health. I also want to get going on a bunch of baby quilts I want to make and have a cleaner and more welcoming craft room so that when I get the bug to create, the room is waiting there for me and I don’t have to clean it up every time I want to craft.
