Saturdays with Sally: Pumpkins, Anyone?
It’s PUMPKIN time again. But after perusing my collection, I couldn’t find one large enough for my card idea. No worries for me. My eyes found a perfect dies that would work!
I started first by stamping Halloween Scene in Soft Granite Ink for a pale background. Next I used Halloween Trimmings Stamp & Cut and die cut the words in Pitch Black cardstock. I also die cut the *bat* die in Pesto cardstock for the leaf and Pitch Black for the mouth - I cut the bat in half to get the mouth, how's that for thinking outside the box? Any round or oval-ish die will work for the pumpkin, so I used an oval from From the Vault Travel Frame Cuts. Cut a tiny stem from brown and wind up some green wire for a little curly-do on the stem. Mount all together and add Self-Adhesive Googly Eyes to finish it off! Can you guess which cardstock I used to create my card base? That's right - Pumpkin!
Happy Halloween everyone!!
