Plentiful Pansies
Hi friends. Kailash here sharing a card featuring the versatile use of Hero Transfers. I'm showcasing the Pansies Hero Transfers and how fun it is to incorporate them with stamps and dies.
I love the look of flowers growing alongside a fence so thought to recreate that on my card.
I started by first creating my background by inking the top half of Dove White cardstock with Splash Reactive ink and for the bottom I used Green Apple Reactive ink. I spritzed droplets of water to the top half to activate the ink which results in adding some texture to the 'sky'. I stamped the bird images from the Color Layering Sunset Over Waves set.
I then die cut the Wood Fence Fancy Die from Dove White cardstock and adhered to the background panel using Precision Glue.
Using the Pansies Hero Transfers, I selected and cut out a few of the pansies with the white protective layer in place. I then positioned the pansies, removing the white protective later and rubbed firmly onto the fence with the wood stick (included with the transfers), transferring the image before pulling away from the clear layer. I needed to add more of the flowers on my design so I rubbed a few of the pansies and leaves individually onto Dove White cardstock and fussy cut to create the die cuts. I then randomly adhered the fussy cut transfers with Precision Glue.
Once all the flowers were adhered I die cut butterflies from the Butterfly Foliage set from Dove White cardstock. I inked the larger butterfly with Ultra Pink Core ink and the two smaller butterflies with Tangerine and Stone Wash Core inks. I adhered the butterflies with Precision Glue, then added White Hero Pearls to the center of the butterflies.
I stamped the sentiment from the Floral Imprints set onto Pitch Black cardstock using Clear Embossing & Watermark Ink, applied White Embossing Powder and heat set. Die cut with the coordinating die.
Before adhering the sentiment I added white splatters over the entire card with inexpensive acrylic paint.
I hope you were inspired to try using Hero Transfers next in your crafting. It's a simple yet versatile product.
Thanks for stopping by!
