Oh What Fun: Sneak Peek #2 + Giveaway

Hello and happy Monday, friends! Are you ready for another sneak peek from our upcoming 2019 Oh What Fun Catalog? Today we couldn't resist showing you one of four new Bold Prints background stamps from the Winter release...

Card by Creative Team member Jessica Frost-Ballas

This beautiful card by Jessica features the new Nordic Holiday Bold Prints (CG782) background stamp. She was able to achieve this fabulous multi-color effect by stamping with blue ink on blue cardstock (just dark enough to see the shapes), then painting the colored areas with gouache. Once that dried she went back in with a Versamark pen, adding Versamark and detail white embossing powder to the areas she wanted to be white. So cool! Bold Prints background stamps lend themselves to so many fun techniques and are the perfect starting point for your holiday projects. The large 6" x 6" Cling format makes them super versatile too!

The sentiment on the card comes from the Color Layering Nordic Tree (CM374) clear set, which is full of images and messages that will work wonderfully with the Nordic Holiday Bold Prints.

GIVEAWAY: Leave a comment on this post and we will randomly select one winner to receive a $20 gift card to the Hero Arts online shop! Please comment by Wednesday, July 24 at 11:59pm PT.

On Wednesday we'll be revealing the entire catalog here on the blog! Oh What Fun Winter Catalog products will begin arriving at your favorite retailers in early August, and in the Hero Arts online shop on August 22.

We look forward to sharing our final sneak peek and another giveaway with you tomorrow. Thanks for stopping by!
