No Line Coloring with Tin of Brushes
Hello and welcome to the last day of 2019!
I'm thrilled to be sharing a card with one of my most favorite wood block stamps ever from Hero Arts, Tin of Brushes! I broke out a little no line coloring with a rainbow of paintbrushes for today's design.
To create my card, I stamped the Tin of Brushes on a 4" x 5 1/4" panel of Bristol Smooth Cardstock with a no line coloring ink.
I colored in the paintbrushes with the following Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers:
Peach Pink, Sugared Almond Pink, Red, Light Carmine, Bright Yellow, Yellow, Mustard, Yellow Green, Light Green, Green, Turquoise Green, Green Shadow, Light Blue, Blue, Peacock Blue, Persian Green, Lilac, Light Violet, Violet, Purple, Dark Pink, Mid Brown, Oatmeal, Pale Gray, Gray, Blue Gray
The spool of thread from the Crafty Messages Stamp Set was stamped next to the Tin of Brushes with no line coloring ink and colored in with Light Violet, Violet, Mid Brown, and Oatmeal.
The two images were masked and a line was drawn along the bottom to create a ledge or "table". The upper part of the card was inked with Hero Hues Splash Reactive Ink using a blending brush. The mask was removed and a bit of Gray and Pale Gray were used to add color to the table top.
A greeting from the Crafty Messages Stamp Set and a heart from the Stick Together Stamp & Cut Set were stamped on the background with black ink. The marker was colored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers in Blue, Light Blue, Gray, Mid Brown, and Oatmeal. The heart was colored with Red and Light Carmine.
The background panel was adhered to a white side fold card base with foam adhesive to finish the card.
Thank you for joining me today!

This “art” card is amazing but everything you do is amazing. When I grow up, I want to be able to color like you and get those results. P.S. I’m going to be 73 in Nov.

This stamp has been on my wish list since it was released. I love it (except the paint dribbles on the can 😟) and the card you created is lovely.
