April My Monthly Hero Countdown: Idea #6 + Giveaway

We are one sleep away from the release of the April My Monthly Hero Kit! The kit will be available Monday, April 1 at 1pm Eastern/10am Pacific. Now let’s join Ilina, who is sharing the final look at this fabulous kit!

Hi everyone! Ilina here with another peek at the amazing Mediterranean-inspired April My Monthly Hero kit.

I started by die cutting the elements from the kit using Pitch Black cardstock. Once those were cut, I hand cut backing pieces for the buildings from Canary cardstock and adhered it behind the buildings. I set all elements aside.

I cut piece of Dove White card tock measuring 4 1/4" x 5 1/2", added a circle mask (for the moon) and ink blended Grape Juice, Orchid and Rose Madder inks, then splattered some white acrylic paint and white shimmer spray. Once dry I removed the mask and applied the negative from the mask and ink blended Soft Vanilla and Butter Bar inks, then stamped the sentiment using Intense Black ink.

I arranged and adhered the die cuts and adhered the whole panel to a black top folding note card.

Thank you for joining me today and hope you are enjoying all of the sneak peeks!!!
