How about some more inspiration! This is from Creative Team member Jayne Nelson:
I am beyond excited about this month’s rabbit and garden inspired kit! It would be impossible for me to pick a favorite monthly kit but this one might be the one! The kit is chock full of adorable rabbit and gardening stamps and dies – perfect for spring and summer cards for all occasions!
To make my card, I started by creating a card base with one piece of the textured, green cardstock that is included in the kit and then wrapping the card front with a length of raffia ribbon, also included in the kit. I trimmed a piece of white layering paper that I inked above and below a masked line to creak a pink sky and some brown soil. I also stamped one of the kit’s sentiments with black ink in the sky. Before securing the panel to my card with foam tape, I used the kit’s “tilling” die to cut rows of curved slits in the garden. These die cut slits work brilliantly with the vegetable images for creating planted gardens.
Next, I simply stamped a pair of rabbits and a few assorted vegetables with Intense Black ink on white cardstock. I loosely watercolored each image and after they dried, I used the matching dies to cut around each element. I secured each of the images to the card with adhesive dots, making sure to nestle a few of the vegetables into the slits in the garden. It was so easy and tons of fun!
Thanks Jayne!
