March My Monthly Hero Countdown: Idea #2 + Giveaway
We are back with another look at the March My Monthly Hero release! The kit will be available on Monday, March 6th at 1pm eastern/10am pacific. We’ll be sharing ideas for using the main kit and the optional add-on products all weekend long, so stay tuned for more inspiration! Now let’s join Yana, who is sharing another look at the fabulous kit, available on Monday!
My Monthly Hero March kit has fully and completely stolen my heart! At first, I was a bit puzzled as to how all the bits and pieces work together, but after I started stamping and cutting my images out I simply could not stop!
One of the great things included in this month kit are textured brown and green papers – they make fabulous grass and soil backgrounds! I used brown for my project today and built my scene around it.
I have an adorable little bunny doing a bit of gardening – he is planting carrots. Yes! Not gathering, but rather planting full size carrots. Why, you might ask? Simply because my bunnies can!
Another bunny standing next to him is helping – he is already holding a carrot. Next to him is a basket full of produce my bunnies are planning to plant on this card later.
My scene would not be complete without a funny sentiment – I picked “I carrot about you” and stamped it in black ink onto a strip of white paper. This sentiment comes from a Produce and Seeds add-on stamp set. I also added a few additional carrots here and there to emphasize the “carrot” theme of my card.
My stamping was done using Intense Black ink and to color these images I used my Copic Markers.
Win a kit before you can buy it! Just leave a comment on this (and every) Countdown to Creativity post! We’ll randomly draw one lucky winner from all the comments left across all countdown posts, and announce the winner first thing Monday morning, March 6th, before the kit launches at 1 pm eastern. The more you comment, the more chances to win!
Have fun stamping!
