Release day is here! We are so excited to bring you the essentials with our March release. Beautiful Basics is the name of the game this month, with a kit full of products to make your cards get their message across loud and clear. At the end of this post you will find this month's blog hop, full of inspiration using this month's kit and add-ons.

Our Beautiful Basics March 2018 My Monthly Hero is a collection of all-purpose messages and icons in a modern style, with lovely script message dies for them to coordinate with or use alone. Additional dies included will frame your designs in shapes of banners, tags and bubbles. We've added neutral iridescent and metallic sequins, high-quality basic cardstock in black, kraft and white, Unicorn pigment ink and a silver sparkle embossing powder, all to help take your greetings to the highest level.

First up, a set keeping with the overall theme of the kit, our new Smile Stamp & Cut set! Our word Stamp & Cuts have been extremely popular, and this is a great addition to our collection.

This gorgeous Bold Graphic Confetti Die will bring elegance to your cards. The die measures 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" and covers an entire A2 card.

Our next die, Alphabet Window Fancy Die, also measures 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" and can be used for a variety of different card themes - baby, teacher, birthday - the list goes on!

We are all about the sentiments this month, and the next couple add-ons are sure to complement your message collection nicely! First is Hand Drawn Everyday Messages.

And for those birthday celebrations - Birthday Hugs and Kisses.

Our next stamp set, Everyday Icons, is just that - a set of iconic images you will use again and again!

We're giving you all sorts of ways to express those messages to friends and family this month, including text message style! How fun is this Text Me set?

And our final stamp set this month, with messages in one of our most favorite formats - puns! And the images in this Food Puns set are downright adorable, too.

Our Every Which Way 6x6" Stencil is another beautiful basic, which will take your cards to another level.

And closing out this release, three new not-so-basic-because-they-are-fabulous accessories! We're adding a must-have color to our line of Liquid Watercolors - Black!

And who doesn't love a little shimmer on their cards? This gorgeous White Iridescent Shimmer Spray will add a beautiful shimmer to your cards and projects.

And finally - you've asked and we've listened - we have a new White Detail Embossing Powder! We love our existing white embossing powder, but this new addition will be perfect for your embossed smaller messages and fine details.

Today we have Libby joining us with a project using this month's kit.

I am so in love with the beautiful word dies in this month's kit! They are thin and delicate, but they cut like butter and come out perfectly every time. It's so much fun to combine them with the other messages in the clear set to build phrases!

For my card today, I began by doing a quick wash of watercolor on a piece of watercolor paper - I used the gorgeous new liquid watercolors in Moss and Deep Ocean, using lots of water to mute the bold colors a bit. Once dry, I die cut with the "hello" die, once from my watercolored strip, and two more times with plain cardstock, layering the cuts together with liquid glue.

To finish the card, I built my message using Intense Black, Green Hills and Tide Pool inks. A strip of scrap glitter paper along the edge added a little bling.

Could I ever use everything I just saw.
My first purchases years ago were Hero
Arts! I love them but where I live now
there’s no craft store that sells
Hero Arts! ?. Micheal’s has a couple of
woodblocks and a stamp or 2 but that’s
nothing compared to the woodblocks
I’ve purchased in the past. I’ve been
doing this since about 2001 and have
