June 2019 My Monthly Hero is Here + GIVEAWAY!
It's time for the June My Monthly Hero release!
It's a jungle out there! Our June release focuses on the botany and biology of the jungle, from lush, leafy backgrounds to the amazing animals who occupy this beautiful habitat. This month we've combined our jungle-themed stamps and dies with a gorgeous dot palette of Daniel Smith artist quality paints as well as a brand new black dye ink that's darker than our Intense Black - we're calling it INTENS-ified! A pretty leaf stencil rounds out this fabulous kit. And best of all, we will donate 10% of the net profits from this kit to jungle habitat preservation through the World Wildlife Fund. Hero Arts believes in both giving back, and protecting the natural world around us.
This month's kit includes:
- 6" x 8" Clear Stamp Set
- 20 Coordinating Frame Cuts
- 2 Jungle Vine Fancy Dies
- 6" x 6" Leaf Pattern Stencil
- Watercolor Dot Card
- Intens-ified Black Ink Cube
The kit is valued at $79, but it's an incredible deal at only $34.99. It is available in limited quantities – grab yours before they are gone!
Along with the June My Monthly Hero kit, we are introducing several optional add-ons products that complement the kit's jungle theme.
Tropical Flowers and Tropical Flowers Frame Cuts are a must-have for your collection - so many creative ideas with these gorgeous leaves and flowers. And the "you make my world happy" message is another favorite!
Another fun critter set this month - Chameleon Stamp & Cut!
There are two wonderful cling backgrounds this month. First up is Jungle Bold Prints. This one is stunning, whether you stamp, emboss, or take the time to color each of the individual elements of this gorgeous background.
The fun and funky Leafy Bold Prints is another must-have!
There are a couple of fantastic stand-alone dies this month as well. Leaves & Vines Fancy Die is gorgeous whether it's cut out from a solid color, or with color added!
And Jungle Frame Fancy Die is a beautiful element to layer on a card when paired with its rectangular frame. Or, die cut it directly into the card panel without the frame.
Lotus Lady is a beautiful new addition to our collection of woodblock maidens (see our Mermaid, Heavenly Angel, Mocha and Venetian maidens if you love this style!). This month we're introducing something new - Lotus Lady is available in both woodblock and cling versions. Either version works perfectly with the matching Lotus Lady Frame Cut. *** The Lotus Lady Frame Cut is not in stock at this time - we estimate it will be in the shop within 1-2 weeks. ***
And our final product this month - Jungle Mist Liquid Watercolor. A gorgeous shade of green, perfect for your jungle creations!
Love all of these fabulous new add-ons? You can Get Them All in a bundle for roughly a 10% savings, while supplies last. Note: This bundle includes all of the June add-on products, except for K6358 Lotus Lady and DI665 Lotus Lady Frame Cut.

Now let's take a look at a project Janette created with this month's kit!
This month's jungle themed kit is so much fun! I could not wait to get my paintbrush wet when I saw then included Daniel Smith watercolor dot palette. I immediately stamped all the images with the kit included ultra dark Hero Arts Intense-ified black ink on watercolor paper, and got to painting with no plan in mind. A great way to decompress!
The included Daniel Smith watercolor dot palette was curated to compliment this month's designs, and it is perfection! Add the deepest color to the shadows, nooks and crannies and blend out to light, or even white. Allow to dry and add a second layer for more depth and interest.
Die cut images. Tuck monkey into branch and adhere over blended background with dimensional adhesive. The branch section that is over the frame can be adhered flat. Pop elephant and tuck into lower corner. Add an additional leaf swag to the overall simple design. Adhere finished panel to folded card base.
Thank you Janette! We love seeing all of the creative ideas from our team, and we know you will too! Please take a look at what these incredible artists did with this month's release! One reader will be randomly selected from the Hero Arts blog comments to receive a free June kit (or reimbursement if you have already purchased your kit!) Leave your comment by Sunday, June 9 at 11:59pm Pacific, then look for the winner announcement here on the blog the following week.
And for even more inspiration - we invite you to join us LIVE on Facebook this evening for our My Monthly Hero Release Spotlight! Libby will be walking through the new release and sharing samples, a giveaway, and more. We're so excited for this event and hope to see you there at 9:00 pm Eastern!
