Now let's take a look at a project Janette created with this month's kit!

The endless hot days of summer are sure to be cooled by a refreshing afternoon at the lake! This month's kit can transport us there with just a little ink, stamps, a few dies and maybe a nessie...

This kit is packed with lake essentials from the boat, to the dock, happy children, fish, birds, mountain and trees, but I fell for the nessie the moment I saw her! I'm not so sure my relaxing lake days would be such if I actually saw a nessie, but it would be memorable, indeed!

Create this project by ink blending Pool Party Reactive Ink above the horizon line and Blue Hawaii below on a 3" x 4 1/4" panel of Dove White cardstock. Stamp nessie in Indigo ink. Die cut mountains from Pebble cardstock and emboss white. Split mountains and adhere one behind the other at the horizon line. Stamp sentiment in Black.

Adhere blended panel to folded card base with dimensional adhesive. Stamp six buoy lines in Crimson ink. Adhere buoy lines as a border around center panel. Trim two buoy lines to add as extensions to the left and right sides of the blended panel for the correct length. Matching the pattern and tucking cut ends where possible will create a polished look.
