Introducing Hero Arts Color Layering 2016

Happy Friday, stampers! Today we're very excited to introduce Hero Arts Color Layering 2016! Click HERE or on the cover image to check it out page by page.

Hero Arts Color Layering Catalog

Did you see some stamps you recognize? That's because this catalog expands upon our popular collection of Color Layering stamp sets in a fun, new way! We asked our artists to pick coordinating ink colors to complement some of their favorite existing Color Layering stamps. The results are wonderfully creative cards that feature NEW 4-cube ink packs (16 new packs in all) with the designing artist's name. Each offers rich versatility; you’ll find they work well with most any set and often produce stunning and unexpected results. All 16 packs are pictured below...

The beauty is that you can use these coordinating inks to build color and detail into your Color Layered images, or you can simply use them for everyday stamping. Aside from being a great value, cubes provide an opportunity for you to fill in color gaps in your ink collection and try out new shades, all while saving space.

We couldn't resist adding a summery new stamp set to the Color Layering collection. Did you spot it on page 4? Say "aloha" to CL976 Color Layering Pineapple + its matching Frame Cuts! And of course the perfect pineapple-y ink pack, AF363 Hero's Pineapple, is a must. You can see how these colors look on the cards Tami and Sally created. Good enough to eat!

All new products from the 2016 Color Layering Catalog will begin shipping to retailers June 6, so look for them soon! We will also have the full line of products from the catalog available in our own online shop on June 15.

Kelly Rasmussen is here today to share the gorgeous card she created for the catalog, using the new AF356 Kelly's Flowers ink cube pack along with the [hero_product_link sku="CL944" text="CL944 Color Layering For You Flowers"] stamp set.

Hello Beutiful by Kelly Rasmussen for Hero Arts

She says:  Experiment with different ink colors! You might be surprised at the colors you can create with layering. And if you need a coordinating darker shade of a certain color, try double or triple stamping. For the third layer on the flowers, I double stamped Raspberry Jam to create the darkest color.

One of the neat things about this catalog is that each artist shared a bit of insight into the creation of her cards and/or ink cube packs, so you'll find plenty of helpful tips throughout as an added bonus!

Thanks so much for stopping by today. We'd love to hear what you think of our new Color Layering 2016 catalog!

Here's to a happy and colorful weekend,
