Last month we introduced you to our Color Layering 2016 catalog, and today's the day you've been waiting for - products from this release are now available in our shop!
You've loved all of the Color Layering stamps and coordinating dies we've released over the past year, but the question we've gotten time and again is "What colors of ink should I use?" With this release, we've answered that question for you! We asked our artists to pick coordinating ink colors to complement some of their favorite existing Color Layering stamps. The results are new 4-cube ink packs (16 new packs in all) with the designing artist’s name. Each offers rich versatility; you’ll find they work well with most any set and often produce stunning and unexpected results.
Aside from being a great value, cubes provide an opportunity for you to fill in color gaps in your ink collection and try out new shades, all while saving space. These ink packs work wonderfully with Color Layering, but they are great for everyday stamping, too!
We've also introduced a fabulous new Color Layering stamp set with this release - the [hero_product_link sku="CL976" text="Color Layering Pineapple"] and coordinating [hero_product_link sku="DI189" text="Color Layering Pineapple Frame Cuts"]. There's also the perfect ink cube pack for this set, [hero_product_link sku="AF363" text="Hero's Pineapple"].
AND! We've combined the new ink packs with their Color Layering stamp set (and dies in some cases) into bundles - find those in the store, too!
Today our Creative Team is joining us to share their color inspiration for this release, and we have a couple of friends joining, too, to introduce you to the Color Layering Pineapple! Find all of the hop information at the end of this post. Here are a couple cards from Jayne and Sally to kick things off! First up, Jayne...
Some of my all-time favorite Hero Arts floral images are the gorgeous flowers in the [hero_product_link sku="CL868" text="Color Layering Hibiscus"] set. And although these flowers look equally lovely stamped in many different colors, I particularly love them layered with the softer shades of peach and red. I've used Peach, Pale Tomato, Red Royal and Cocoa inks, which are combined in the new [hero_product_link sku="AF353" text="Jayne's Blush"] 4-cube ink pack, to stamp a summery, floral card. I think that these ink colors combine beautifully to create flowers that work equally well in both vintage and modern designs. I hope that you love the [hero_product_link sku="AF353" text="Jayne's Blush"] ink pack as much as I do!
And Sally is here to introduce her bright, happy ink pack!
"Live life happy!" is my daily motto. Living in the bright sunny desert, it just MAKES you happy! The yellow is my sun, the orange and pink are my happy... and then you just HAVE to add some green! That's how I chose my [hero_product_link sku="AF348" text="Sally's Tropical Brights"] inks to use along with the [hero_product_link sku="CL862" text="Color Layering Graphic Flowers"].
Now please join us for our blog hop, to see what this fabulous group of ladies came up with! Be sure to comment on each and every blog post along the way. We'll randomly select FIVE LUCKY WINNERS to win a Color Layering Bundle of their choice! Comments close Sunday, June 19 at 11:59pm PT, and we'll announce the winner the following week.
