Happy New Year! + Season's Givings Blog Hop

Happy New Year! We hope you've enjoyed the holidays, and are settling into 2018. We are thrilled to be joining a big hop today, full of generous stampers and craft companies. The purpose of this hop is to say a great big THANK YOU to all of YOU, our wonderful blog readers! Every single stop along this hop is offering some sort of prize. How fun is that? So sit back, relax and bring 2018 in with a crafty bang!

Libby created the card we're sharing today. It features an oldie but goodie, our My Monthly Hero kit from December 2016! Libby stamped the champagne bottles repeatedly, colored with her Copics and then added gold gel pen (included in the kit) as well as some gold Stickles to the labels. The "cheers" was cut with a die included in the kit, and the shiny gold metallic paper came from the kit as well. She finished the card with some polka dotted washi tape from her stash.

Because this kit is so incredibly perfect for the new year, we decided to offer up THREE of them as our prizes for this hop! Just leave a comment here on the blog, letting us know your goals for 2018, and we'll put your name in the hat. You have until Sunday, January 7 at 11:59pm PT to comment, and we'll announce the winners the following week here on the blog.

Now it's time to hop! Here's the entire list of participants.

From here you'll visit our friends over at CAS-ual Friday Stamps. Have fun hopping! And we wish you all the very best in 2018!

Well, besides losing weight…lol… I would have to say having my Christmas projects done sooner in the year and not waiting until it gets real close to finish up projects, and to make more ready made occasion cards, so I have them on hand and don’t get in a rush to make something at the last minute.

  • Rita Wright

I want to mail more of my cards. That seems like the best resolution to me. :)

  • Stacy Misura

My goal is to finally learn how to blend inks correctly.

  • Angie Hall

I want to create cards ahead of time instead of rushing to make cards at the last minute. I also want to get all my supplies organized so I won’t waste time looking for things.

What a fun kit! Thanks for the chance to win. My goal for 2018 is to make at least one card every weekend.
