Gobble This Up!

I love the new Branch Wreath Fancy Die. It is truly versatile. As you might know, I love using one product many ways, so here are three ideas for your holiday season.

For a Thanksgiving card, I combined the wreath with a turkey I created from a variety of dies. It’s so much fun to find unexpected ways to use my dies! I began by embossing the die-cut wreath in copper. Then I created my turkey! His body feathers are from the Holiday Mittens Frame Cuts, and a few circles from the Circle Infinity Dies make his body. His feet are from the mitten set, too. I made his wattle from one of the branch dies from Happy Holly Days Frame Cuts. That cute little happy face is from the Social Icon Dies, coming to our web store soon as part of our Planner release! I embellished it with some branches from Christmas Trimmings Frame Cuts, which are also used on the next project.

You can make a standing wreath by placing the die on some folded cardstock – place the die right at the fold. The stiffer the paper, the better for standing upright. I decorated it with the branches and flower from Christmas Time Trimmings, and added the name in gold pen.

You can also use the wreath to create a napkin holder, made the same way without the fold.  Heavier paper or several thicknesses gives better strength.
