Cards Featuring the Confetti Heart Background

Jan 26, 2018 Sally Traidman

Hearts aren’t just for Valentine’s Day! Being the Queen of Hearts, I stamp or die cut them almost DAILY! Let me show you a few ideas for our large Heart Confetti Fancy Die and the Happily Ever After banner stamp. These easy-to-make cards are great for weddings and anniversaries.

For this first card, I die cut the confetti hearts on white cardstock and mounted it onto a Pool Folded Card. I stamped the banner in Aegean ink and trimmed with my scissors. After mounting onto my card with foam tape, I add a silver foil heart die cut from the confetti die. I save any type of foil cardstock from boxes, magazines, candy, etc, just for occasions like this!

For my second card, I cut a small white card and adhered a banner stamped in Charcoal ink, then added shiny silver hearts from the confetti die. I love that you can use the die cut as a background, or save the pieces for other uses. They are great in shaker cards, too!

Lastly, I die cut the confetti die once again in white cardstock, then mounted on a Snow card. I stamped the banner in six different colors and trimmed each one with scissors, then attached embroidery floss to each one before mounting onto the card with foam tape.

Let your heart be the guide!
