Greetings, fellow crafters! Today, I'm excited to share a fun and colorful card creation using the new Color Layering Beach Ball Stencils from Hero Arts. This card features a unique design with beach balls and water splashes, showcasing the versatility of these stencils. To create this card, I started by ink blending the three layering stencils with Taffy, Lemon Drop, and Splash Reactive Inks onto an A2-sized piece of Deluxe Smooth White Cardstock. Tip: When using layering stencils, make sure to align them carefully to ensure a seamless design. Use the corner of your paper or a grid mat to help you position the stencils accurately.
Next, I cut the panel at an angle, creating a dynamic diagonal design element. I set the bottom right corner aside for later use. Then, I used the Nesting Circle Infinity Dies to cut out several beach balls from the remainder of the ink blended panel. I then masked off the beach ball portions from the third layering stencil using masking tape and applied Glitter Hero Paste through the stencil onto an A2-sized piece of Peacock cardstock. Once the glitter paste dried, I glued the right corner of the original ink blended piece on top of the corresponding corner. To add some extra sparkle, I added a thin strip of white glitter paper from the Glitter Paper Basics pack along the edge of the ink blended panel.
To create a fun layered effect, I glued the cut out beach balls to the top, left corner in-between the glittery water splashes. Finally, I heat embossed a sentiment from the Winter Mail Critters Bundle and added it to the front of the card using foam squares. This card showcases the versatility of the Color Layering Beach Ball Stencils and the fun designs you can create with them. By combining ink blending, die-cutting, and glitter techniques, you can achieve a unique and eye-catching card design. I hope this inspires you to try out new techniques and products in your own crafting journey! Happy crafting!
