Autumn Greetings
It is hard to believe that Autumn already started, and before we know it, we will be enjoying the season’s celebrations. Today I am sharing a card that I created using a wonderful set called Color Layering Fall Trees, perfect for this time of the year.
This stamp set includes five different layers of tree foliage. The foliage is simulated by tiny scattered dots, which I love because they can easily be layered. You can use as many layers as you want along with your favorite ink colors. There is no such a thing like precision or perfection, just the fun of stamping to create a pretty Autumn scene.
For this card I used the Woodgrain Bold Prints by Lia to create a stamped panel that I used as the background. I adhered this panel over a card base. Then, I stamped the tree over a piece of Snow Layering Paper, using different colors of ink. I die cut the tree image into a rectangle using the new Rectangle Infinity Dies. I created a rectangular orange mat with an Infinity Die as well.
I white embossed a sentiment over a strip of Kraft cardstock, and after that, I layered the different pieces over the card base. I include a bronze metallic strip, hemp and gemstones to finish off my card.
That’s all from me today, I hope you have a nice weekend and maybe set aside some time to start creating your Autumn projects! Thanks for joining me today!
