April My Monthly Hero Countdown: Idea #1 + Giveaway
Caly Person
Hello and welcome as we begin the countdown to the release of the April My Monthly Hero Kit! Release day is Monday, April 1 at 1pm Eastern/10 am Pacific. Our Creative Team will be here for the next three days sharing ideas for using the kit. Stay tuned for more inspiration all weekend long! Now let's join Caly for a first look at the kit...
Hi, Friends! It's Caly with you today sharing a card made using the April My Monthly Hero Kit! The kit is die-focused to create an Italian scene and it can change with the different elements that are available and I hope my take on this card inspires you!

You can create your Italian scene with a variety of mediums and colors. Today, I'm focusing on a more realistic view (from what I imagine) with more neutral colors.

I've ink-blended each of my panels today. You can ink-blend after die-cutting also, but for my pieces, I ink-blended before color so the edges show no harsh ink coverage.
These are the following ink colors that I used for my card:
I hope you enjoyed my take on this Italian scene. There will be more on Monday's blog hop and I can't wait to share that with you also!
Win a kit before you can buy it! Just leave a comment on this (and every) Countdown to Creativity post. We’ll randomly draw one lucky winner from all the comments left across all countdown posts. The winner will be announced first thing Monday morning, April 1, before the kit launches at 10am Pacific. The more you comment, the more chances to win!
Hi Caly, This is a beautiful card and so realistic of life in Italy. I think I am going to love this April release.
Oh my gosh—can hardly wait to see the rest of this kit. Love the soft blending of your card and this scene brings me right back to Venice.
Hi Caly,
I love the layout and colors of your card. You made me feel as though I was there in Italy! I look forward to the rest of the kit. Thank you for sharing and giving us inspiration!
It looks beautiful! Love all the soft natural colors you used!
Wow, looks like Venice in a summer breeze. What an uncommon theme for a stamp kit, really looking forward to it :-)!
