It's time for another fabulous My Monthly Hero Release! Who's ready to go on a European adventure?
Let's travel to sunny Italy, enjoy handmade pasta, drink Chianti and soak up the wonderful culture. We can do it all from the comfort of our craft desks, while stamping with our April Monthly Release! This month's kit contains a set of beautiful dies for building a scene straight out of Venice. Try our new Hero Hues Premium Cardstock in a sampling of seven gorgeous colors. We've also included vellum, foam tape and a black pen to enhance your scenes, and a 4 x 6 clear set has the perfect messages to complement your creations.
This month's kit includes:
- 4" x 6" Clear Stamp Set
- 7 Scenery Fancy Dies
- 14 5.5" x 8.5" Sheets of Hero Hues Premium Cardstock (Sand, Mustard, Pumpkin, Cherry, Plum, Adriatic, Arctic)
- 2 5.5" x 8.5" Sheets of Vellum Paper
- 2 Rolls of 1/2" Foam Tape, 2.2 yd. each, in 2 thicknesses

Ahhh, Venice. The gondolas, the street lamps, and the masks! Carnevale and the matching Carnevale Frame Cuts does a wonderful job capturing some of the magic of that amazing city.
I don't know about you but Italian Table and the matching Italian Table Frame Cuts makes me crave a visit to my favorite Italian restaurant! And how about that message "eat, drink & craft"?? Yes, please!
Take a close look at the wonderful new Venetian Neighborhood Cling. Can you tell what it works perfectly with? That's right, the very popular Peek-a-Boo Doors Fancy Die!
Also pairing perfectly with the Venetian Neighborhood Cling above, the Hero Greetings Mini Messages set is sized to fit inside the windows cut with the Peek-a-Boo Doors die. (Hint: also combine these greetings with Mail Jumble or Presents Background when used with the Peek-a-Boo Doors die!)
If you're inspired by your kit to add even more die cut elements to your scenes, we have more dies for you! First up, European Plaza Fancy Dies with a fountain, street lamps and fence.
Add more buildings and some cobblestone to your creations with European Village Fancy Dies.
And finally, Tree Arch Fancy Die is just what the name says - a gorgeous arch of trees, to add a little greenery to your paper village.
There's an elegant new background cling stamp this month - Venetian Fleur-de-lis Bold Prints.
And rounding out the release is Venetian Maiden, a beautiful woodblock stamp.

Now let's take a look at a project Janette created with this month's kit!
This month's Venetian inspired kit has, once again, gotten my mind wandering to far off places and packed suitcases. Today's project has me dreaming of the villages of Positano with beautiful skies and dreamy watercolor.
Create this card by watercoloring Bristol paper with 4 pastel shades. Sprinkle water over drying panels and allow to dry naturally for a plaster like effect.
While the watercolor is drying, ink blend the sky on Hero Hues Dove White cardstock in Soft Sky, Soft Pink and Soft Cantaloupe. Then die cut watercolor panels creating 2 sets of each of the left and right facing building, and the clothes line. Precision Glue the buildings flat to sky paying particular attention to the perspective lines and the windows of the buildings.
Pop clothesline with dimensional adhesive and tuck into windows. White Detail heat emboss "Ti amo" onto Pitch Black cardstock strip trimmed with a banner detail. Fussy cut heart from Cherry cardstock and Precision Glue to banner. Adhere finished panel to card base, sign, seal and pop in the mail box!
