Welcome to the release of our April My Monthly Hero kit and add-ons. This calls for a fiesta! At the end of this post you will find this month's blog hop, full of inspiration using this month's products.

It's time to celebrate and this is the kit to get the party started! We've got festive images galore, with oodles of coordinating Frame Cuts to match. You'll also find a floral window Fancy Die to extend the theme. To round out the kit's offerings we're including three Reactive inks (spray with water for fabulous and unpredictable results), and three long sheets of brightly colored Unryu tissue paper.

This month's kit includes:

6" x 8" Clear Stamp Set
20 Coordinating Frame Cuts Dies
1 Ornate Floral Border Die
3 Reactive Ink Cubes (Fiesta Red, Fiesta Teal, Fiesta Yellow)
3 6" x 18" Sheets Unryu Paper (Assorted Colors)

Here's a closer look at the inks included in the kit. They are vibrant, blend beautifully and react with water. We think you'll really enjoy them!

First up, It's Fiesta Time - an adorable set to get you in the party spirit! It has matching It's Fiesta Time Frame Cuts, too!

Next, a Day of the Dead-inspired set that will make you "party 'til you drop" - Shake Your Bones, and matching dies too.

We had the chihuahua set above, and we couldn't leave out our cat-loving friends! It's time to "fiesta right meow" with Cinco de Meow and the matching Cinco de Meow Frame Cuts!

Our Paper Layering dies partially cut some areas to add extra texture to your die cuts. The new Paper Layering Pinata uses this technique to create fabulous fringe!

Speaking of fringe - the next die, Fiesta Fringe Fancy Die, is handy for creating fringed accents on your cards and projects! It has been designed to allow for you to trim the bottom edge and create the perfect length of fringe that your project calls for.

For gorgeous borders or banners on your cards, Decorative Edge Fancy Die is perfect!

The Papel Picado Confetti Die measures 4.2" x 5.4" to cover your entire A2 card front.

Blanket Pattern Bold Prints is a fantastic background for your Southwest-inspired projects, and beyond!

And closing out the add-ons, another must-have color in our line of Liquid Watercolors - Purple!

How about some projects created with this month's kit? Libby created this card - she had a bunch of fun coloring all of the images with her Copic markers! The little papel picado image is easy to stamp repeatedly to create fun banners.

Some of the messages from the kit were combined to create the sentiment, then embossed in black. The festive little mouse was popped up for added dimension.

Here's a quick and easy card Libby created using the cactus stamps and a coordinating message from the kit.

Again the message was embossed, this time in white.
