Waves to Rainbows, Full Panel Shaker Card
Hello, friends! It’s Channin here with a colorful full panel shaker card to share! I love the versatility of the Waves and Clouds Bold Prints stamp. It’s perfect for water or sky backgrounds but you could also add some color and turn all the little waves into rainbows!
First, I stamped the Waves and Clouds Bold Prints stamp onto an A2 panel of watercolor paper in Clear Embossing & Watermark Ink. I then heat embossed the panel with white detail embossing powder and watercolored the panel with several Reactive Inks (Taffy, Creamsicle, Lemon Drop, Key Lime Fizz, Pool Party, & Blue Hawaii).
Once I finished watercoloring the panel I trimmed it down 1/8” on one of the sides and at the top and then I adhered it onto an A2 panel (4 1/4” x 4 1/2”) of Pebble cardstock. Next, I trimmed down a sheet of acetate to 5 1/4” x 6 1/2”. I then scored all the sides at 1/2” and then added score tape to the tabs. I then placed my panel in the center of the acetate, removed the backing on three of the tabs and adhered them to the panel creating a pocket. Next, I filled the pocket with sequins and then removed the backing on the last tab and adhered it to the panel. I adhered the panel onto an A2 top-fold card base with more score tape.
Next I stamped a sentiment from the Affirmation Messages Stamp Set in Clear Embossing & Watermark Ink onto Pebble cardstock. I then white heat embossed the sentiment and die cut it out with a circle die. Next, I die cut a slightly larger circle out of vellum and adhered the circle sentiment to the vellum. I finished the card by adhering sentiment to the card front
I hope you enjoyed today’s card and video! Thank you so much for stopping by!
