Wallpaper Card Set
When I first saw the [hero_product_link sku="K6134" text="Mum Stem"] and [hero_product_link sku="K6133" text="Mum Flower"] stamps, the first thing that came to my mind was vintage wallpaper. With that idea in mind, I decided to create a quick and simple card trio.
Aren't they so fun? You could use them as Mother's Day cards, or box them up and give them as a gift! I had so much fun playing around with what colors to use for this card set...
Although you can't tell in any of the photos, I added Wink of Stella to the flowers, for a very subtle touch of shimmer.
For the first card, I used the light ink [hero_product_link sku="AF146" text="(Soft Pool)"] to stamp the Mum Flower, since it's larger and the soft ink wouldn't stand out quite as much as the darker [hero_product_link sku="AF212" text="Pool"], which I used to stamp the Mum Stem.
This second card uses [hero_product_link sku="AF145" text="Soft Apricot"] and [hero_product_link sku="AF247" text="Fresh Peach"] - I was worried the two might not work together well at first, but I think they look fun! That's one of my favorite things about these cards - it's so easy and fun to change up the colors and experiment!
My last card uses [hero_product_link sku="AF134" text="Soft Lilac"] and [hero_product_link sku="AF167" text="Soft Purple"] - I don't know about you, but I've really been digging purples lately.
For all of the cards, I embossed [hero_product_link sku="F6069" text="Thanks for Being You"] using [hero_product_link sku="PW110" text="white embossing powder"] on black cardstock, then topped off the little hearts with some clear Stickles. Each card was sprinkled with some watered down black ink - I'm really all about the little touches in cards, and how they can make an otherwise simple card pop a little more.
For my set today, I was inspired by THIS image from Pinterest. Pinterest is such a great source of new color combos for me! I hope you have fun exploring the color possibilities!
