Video: Valentine's Day Card with Shaped Stamping
Today I incorporated the shaped stamping technique into my Valentine's Day card. I started by drawing a heart shape on a piece of white cardstock with a pencil as a guide.
Then I stamped various images from following stamp sets: Cherubs, Love Notes, Love, and Peace.
FYI, I used following inks for my stamping: Butter Bar, Lime Green, Fresh Peach, Tide Pool, Wet Cement. I added tiny dots using a tip of alcohol markers between my images to fill in the gaps.
Next, I heat embossed my sentiment from the Love Stamp & Cut with white embossing powder on a piece of red cardstock. Then I mounted the sentiment banner on the card front using 3M foam tame.
I finished off my card by attaching some diamond gemstones on both sides of my sentiment banner.
I made a video tutorial to show you how to make a card from start to finish. You can watch it above or in HD on YouTube.

May, I don’t think I have seen this technique used before where a shape outline has been filled inside and up to the edge with stamped images. It is something I will try. Thank you for sharing this video tutorial. :O)

I love this idea and I can think of a bunch of uses for this technique. I have some really small Christmas images (I think for use on tags) and I’m going to do this as a Christmas ornament. Thanks for the inspiration!
