Video: The Stamping Village Holiday Fest

Hello friends! Today we are participating in a special video hop celebrating The Stamping Village Holiday Seals Stamp Set. This set is designed by 12 members of The Stamping Village because we all value community over competition. These seals are the perfect finishing touch for your holiday envelopes or to decorate your cards!

We also believe in giving back. 100% of the net profits made from this collaboration stamp set will benefit The Dreaming Zebra Foundation. They firmly believe that all children, regardless of their financial circumstances, should have art education. They provide art and music materials free of charge to many schools and community organizations across the country.

We cannot thank you enough for buying this stamp set to help their cause.

Today I'm sharing a couple of snow globe cards featuring the Hero Arts holiday seal. On one card I created a hanging "ornament" with the seal and for my other card I colored another seal and  used it to adorn the envelope that matching the Layering Snow Globe Fancy Die card.

The Hero Arts seal from the Holiday Seals Stamp Set was stamped on smooth white cardstock with the Intens-ified Black Ink Pad. The image was colored in with Copic Markers in BG0000, BG01, B14, B16, B18, E43, E44, E47, E11, R29, R89, YG95, YG97, Y18, W4, W6, W8.

A Nesting Circle Die was used to die cut the seal for both the envelope and for the card.

For the front of the card, the Snowflake Pattern Cover Plate was die cut from Hero Hues Arctic Cardstock and adhered over Hero Hues Mist Cardstock for an icy tone-on-tone background.

The Stamping Village Holiday Seal was adhered to another Nesting Circle Die Cut from vellum and adhered to the background with foam adhesive squares.

The Ornaments Infinity Dies bow and ornament topper were die cut from silver specialty cardstock and adhered with twine to the ornament to make it look like it's "hanging" from the top of the card.

The "for you" sentiment from the Christmas Message Stamp Set was stamped on white cardstock with Intens-ified Black Ink, trimmed into a small tag shape and "hung" from the ornament as shown.

The Snowflake Pattern Cover Plate was embossed into a piece of 4" x 5 1/4" Hero Hues Arctic Cardstock and adhered to the front of a white top fold card base. To emboss with a die, simply follow the die cutting machine manufacturer's instructions and use the embossing plate instead of the cutting plate.

The components for the Layering Snow Globe Fancy Die were die cut from Hero Hues Mist Cardstockvellum, smooth white cardstock, and silver specialty cardstock.

Copic Markers in BG0000, BG01, B14, B16, B18, E43, E44, E47, E11, R29, R89, YG95, YG97, Y18, W4, W6, W8 were used to color in the white die cut panel for the snow globe scene.

A sentiment from the Christmas Message Stamp Set was stamped on the vellum panel with the Embossing & Watermark Ink and heat embossed with White Detail Embossing Powder.

Silver string was tied around the snow globe and then the element was adhered to the center of the card base. Icicle Glitter was applied to parts of the design with Crystal Lacquer.

I hope this has inspired you to create holiday seals or card embellishments using The Stamping Village Holiday Seals Stamp Set
