Video: Thank You Card with White Satin Pearl Embossing Powder
Heat embossing is a fun basic technique that can make your projects literally shine. The [hero_product_link sku="PW118" text="White Satin Pearl Embossing Powder"] is quite unique, and it makes the stamped images look professional and outstanding. So today I am sharing how this product can be used easily to create beautiful backgrounds and to enhance die cut shapes to achieve fabulous results.
Like any other embossing powder, the [hero_product_link sku="PW118" text="White Satin Pearl Embossing Powder"] can be applied to different surfaces like cardstock and vellum, or you can even try any technique that you know like the emboss-resist one with it. I can assure you that you are going to be pleased with the wonderful results that you will get. Here is a video tutorial showing you how I created my card:

(If you are having problems viewing this video, please try watching it HERE on YouTube.)
For this card I used the [hero_product_link sku="S6150" text="Large Floral background"] stamp over a Layering paper panel. I like that the embossing powder reveals a little bit of the color of the card stock underneath. The darker the color of cardstock, the bigger the contrast. For a subtle and fresh aspect, a lighter color of cardstock is better.
To enhance the [hero_product_link sku="DI192" text="die cut sentiment"], I heat-embossed the words twice with this powder for a unique pearlescent appearance that looks smooth, shiny and a little bit puffy. :)
If you happen to have or buy this powder, I will recommend you to play with it. I made a bunch of backgrounds with it, because I really like the effect of elegance that this powder can bring into your projects. I was so entertained using it , that I made more than one card. Here is one of them:
And here you can see closely how pretty this embossing powder looks. I have to say that they look even better in real life.
Well, that's all from me today. I hope you enjoyed the video, and found some inspiration to create pretty backgrounds. Thanks for joining me.
