Video: One Stamp, Three (or More!) Occasions
Good morning and Happy Monday! Jess here with a video sharing several ways to use the Gal Pal Brunch set to create cards for a variety of occasions!
You can watch the video below or over at our YouTube channel!
To start I stamped the gorgeous Pearl Strings Bold Prints stamp onto Hero Hues cardstock in Dove White, Paradise, and Pitch Black Cardstock with the Clear Embossing and Watermark Ink. Then I heat embossed the white panel with Sparkle Embossing Powder, the Paradise panel with Silver Sparkle Embossing Powder, and the Pitch Black panel with Gold Glitter Embossing Powder.
Next I stamped the champagne glasses from Gal Pal Brunch six times with Embossing Ink and heat-embossed four with Silver Sparkle Embossing Powder and two with Gold Glitter Embossing Powder. I colored them with Copic markers and then die-cut them with the coordinating dies.
Next I stamped a variety of sentiments from Gal Pal Brunch and Snarky Mix and Match Messages and heat embossed them with the same sparkly embossing powders before trimming them down to thin labels. I decided to be a little snarky with my wedding card but you could easily just stick with the Congrats if you wanted it to be a bit more conventional!
I also took scraps of black and white cardstock, pressed the Embossing pad on the panels and heat embossed them with Gold Glitter and Silver Sparkle embossing powders to create frames for some of the sentiments. You could also use glittery cardstock but I like how well everything matches with the glittery embossing powder.
I adhered the sentiments to the glittery frames and then arranged them on the background panels with the glasses. I used a mix of ATG adhesive and foam mounting tape for each panel and then finished them up by adding a layer of Crystal Clear Lacquer to each glass for a little extra shine! I love the black and gold card for a New Year’s Eve card or even an elegant Congratulations card. The white is perfect for a wedding, engagement, or anniversary, and the teal is great for a Galentine’s Day brunch! I hope this gives you some ideas for different ways to use Gal Pal Brunch and thanks for stopping by! Have a Happy New Year and happy crafting! :)

Nice video. It helps to see the same stamp being used different ways. I get in a rut and need nudges to help me see the potential. I really like the background stamp.

I have a question about using alcohol markers and embossing. I have read in multiple articles and seen in multiple videos that using embossing powder and alcohol markers will ruin the tips of the markers. Is that true? I spent a lot of money in my collection and I really don’t want to mess up the marker tips. But I really love the look of the embossing with the coloring. Any tips?
