Hi Crafty Friends! Carly here and I am so very excited to share this sparkly, gummy bear card with you! It might be my favorite card design I've ever made because it has glitter, it's fun to squish and most importantly, it looks like my favorite candy!!!

This card is such a fun one to make and it uses minimal supplies! You really only need a few basics to bring it to life, which I love. And the best part? You can totally customize your squishy bear by tinting the glitter paste any color you like. Want a classic gummy bear look, your favorite candy color, or even something totally unexpected? Just mix in a few drops of reinker and make it your own!
Step-by-Step instructions
- Start by die cutting an A2 cardstock panel with the base layer of the Bear Hugs Die Set to create a window.
- Place the window panel on the lid of a stamping tool or acrylic block to help shape the “from me to you” sentiment from the Big Hugs Stamp Set around the bottom of the bear.
- Test the sentiment placement by laying a piece of acetate over the window panel. Ink the stamp and stamp onto the acetate first. If needed, reposition and test again. Once correct, clean the acetate and stamp directly onto the window panel.
- Set the window panel aside and tint your Glitter Paste. A paper cup works great—just scoop in glitter paste, add a few drops of reinker, and mix.
- Spread the tinted glitter paste onto plastic (laminator pockets or scrap plastic work well), cutting it to fit behind the window panel. Keep the paste concentrated in the center.
- Add extra glitter if desired (because why not?!!!).
- Fold the plastic over or place another piece on top to create a sealed pocket.
- If using laminator pouches, seal with heat (like a flat iron). If using tape, seal generously to keep the paste from drying out and avoid placing sealed edges too close to the window opening.
- Gently spread the glitter paste inside the pocket so it fills the bear shape.
- Stamp sentiments inside your folded card base.
- Trim the squishy glitter pocket to fit inside the card and adhere it with a strong adhesive.
- Add foam tape around the edges and adhere the window panel on top.
- Press firmly with acrylic blocks to secure everything.
- Finish with faux splatter using pens. If you prefer a more organic black splatter, try the Black Acrylic Speckle Ink.
- Add eyes and a nose if desired.
How fun is that?! We love how Carly turned a simple die set into an interactive, squishy card full of sparkle and personality. The combination of glitter, dimension, and that adorable gummy bear design makes this project truly unforgettable.
