Video: How to Color Antique Roses with Colored Pencils
Recently I’m really into coloring with colored pencils. For today’s coloring project, I used the Antique Rose stamp which is a great stamp as it has large petals to color. It also includes some shading so it makes my guess work for shading easier.
When you use colored pencils, it’s good to start with light colored pencil first and then add another layer with a darker shade of color over the top of the previous layer.
I added darker color towards the center of my flowers and where two petals meet together, making sure to leave some white spot. And I traced outlines with the dark colored pencil to enhance the outlines and make my flowers pop.
This is my third time making a card with colored pencils. If you would like to watch a video tutorial of my second coloring project using the You’re A Fungi stamp set, please click HERE.
I heat embossed the sentiment from the Egg-cellent stamp set using white embossing powder. I had to redo my card for some reason. If you’d like to see my failed attempt, make sure to watch my video tutorial below. You can watch it HERE on YouTube as well.
That’s all for today. Hope you loved my card and got some inspiration to make a card using colored pencils. Thank you so much for stopping by. Happy crafting!

Beautiful card. Thanks for the helpful tuition. Where can I buy the tool you used, I think it’s called a tee ruler, for aligning your sentiment.
