Video: Gift Card Holder - One Die, Two Ways!
Hi there! Emily Midgett here with you today, and I have a video using the new Gift Card Holder Fancy Die. In the video, I show you how very easy it is to put together, creating a simple gift card holder tag, as well as a more involved card front, pairing the Gift Card Holder with some stamping and die cuts to create a festive project!

In case you can't watch the video, I'll give you a basic rundown of the steps to create these projects. To create the green gift card holder, I simply die cut the Gift Card Holder Fancy Die from some Kiwi cardstock. Before adhering the sides to create the holder itself, I used the die cut outlines included with the Gift Card Holder Fancy Die to add a simple sentiment and some holly berries for decoration. I then used some super strong tape to adhere the flaps, finally adding a loop of ribbon and some red jewels for "berries" to add a touch of color! Simple, and super easy to mass-produce!
For my second project, I kicked things up a bit, adding some stamping and die cutting to create a festive card front, perfect for a coffee shop gift card for a teacher or a coworker! I began by die cutting a simple gift card holder, again using the Gift Card Holder Fancy Die, from some Cherry cardstock. I also stamped the beautiful Holiday Foliage Bold Prints background on some more Cherry cardstock using Mulled Wine ink.
I then stamped and die cut a red holiday cup with Mulled Wine ink using the Coffee Cup Tags stamps and coordinating Frame Cuts. I stamped a greeting from Coffee Cup Tags on a strip of white cardstock using Intens-ified Black ink, flagging the end with some sharp scissors. I adhered everything using both Precision Glue and foam adhesive for extra dimension, being careful not to cover the slot for the gift card with adhesive to prevent the gift card sliding in smoothly.
Well, that's all for my projects today! The new Gift Card Holder Fancy Die is super versatile and so easy to use... there's really no reason why you couldn't use it all year round! Thanks so much for stopping by, and have a marvelous week!

Awesome die set Emily. I love both the gift card holders you made. You could use the red one even on a card.
