Video: Crisp White Poinsettia Card
Hey everyone. It's Dana here with you today. I have video tutorial sharing how to make an elegant crisp white poinsettia window card. By using the Poinsettia Fancy Window Die, you can create beautiful clean and simple cards for the upcoming holiday season.
Here's the tutorial for the card.
(If you are having trouble viewing this video, please watch HERE on YouTube.)
To start off the card, I die cut a piece of Dove White cardstock with the Poinsettia Window Fancy Die. This die makes an incredible impression on your card with areas that can be lifted.
Next we will use another piece of Dove White cardstock to stamp a sentiment. By lining up the die cut window of the new piece of cardstock, I can place my sentiment in the center to get perfect alignment. Once I remove the die cut piece, I stamp a sentiment from the Winter Trees stamp set in Embossing and Watermark Ink. Next I sprinkle the sentiment with Gold Embossing Powder and heat set.
Now it's time to put our card together. Using Precision Glue, I adhere the die cut piece over the sentiment piece of cardstock. I make sure not to place any glue on the areas I want to pop up. Once this is pressed down well, I can adhere this panel to a Dove White Side Folded Card. These card bases are perfect for quick cardmaking. No need to cut and score your card bases anymore.
As a last element, I adhered matte gold gems to a few of the flowers. Pulling in just this touch of gold finishes off the card nicely. Mass producing holiday cards can be super easy when you use one solid color and add just a touch of gold. The Poinsettia Window Fancy die is going to be a staple in my holiday cardmaking.
Thanks for stopping by everyone. I hope you have a wonderful day.
