Video: Creating a Bee and Flower Die Cut Focal Point
Hello there, Michelle here and today, I am sharing a card using the new Bees and Flowers Fancy Dies. With these dies, you can create wonderful scenes but with the help of the Hexagon Infinity Dies, I am creating a simple focal point for my card today.
Here is the video showing how I made the card:
(If you are having trouble viewing this video, please watch HERE on YouTube.)
I started off by die cutting the Bees and Flowers Fancy Dies from Dove White Cardstock. I then coloured them using Copic markers. Watch the video to see how I coloured two flowers so that I could add the flower head with some added dimension.
I die cut three of the smaller hexagons from the Hexagon Infinity Dies set from more Dove White Cardstock. I then blended on Pool Party Reactive Ink, focusing the darker colour towards the bottom. I splattered with a little water and stamped the sentiment, from the Bee The Queen set on to the middle sized one with Intens-ified Black Ink.
The hexagons were added first to a Dove White Top Folding Card with tape runner, followed by the flower using Precision Glue. I then added the bee with thin foam tape. To finish off, I added Clear Hero Hues Enamel Dots to the hexagons.
This card is making me yearn for spring! Thank you so much for stopping by today, happy stamping!

Love this card so cute. I will be buying this die set. I’d really like to know about the tweezers you used in the video. Where can I find those?

Your card was lovely. A minimalistic version but lovely and anyone would love to receive it. Just goes to show that sometimes less is more. Love it.

Great card Michelle. Both versions are lovely. I REALLY like the ombre effect on the hexagons and flower stem.
Great clean and simple design.
