Video: Color Layering Moonlit Night
Hi friends! Lydia here with a video for you with the utterly lovely Color Layering Moonlit Night stamp set! I just had to make it spooky - but the timeless sky imagery in this set is something that can be used all year for any theme.
I decided to use Unicorn Pigment Ink and Key Lime Fizz Reactive Inks to create a spooky, atmospheric backdrop for my beautiful little bats on top of a liquid watercolor rainbow circle with Strawberry, Orange, Dandelion, Leaf, Deep Ocean and Purple Liquid Watercolors.
I have a few tips for you in the video for how to get crisp images on cold press watercolor paper - I prefer cold press for its durability with techniques like the one I am doing today.
(If you are having trouble viewing this video, please try watching it HERE on YouTube.)
I hope you enjoyed that video - there are some beautiful samples with totally different looks with this set on our Instagram account - the sky image changes a LOT with your ink selections for light and dark layering - it really has so many possibilities. Think about the ink collection you have and try different combinations for the clouds - the possibilities are endless.
Thank you for being part of the Hero community and for stopping by today.

Love your card and that stamp, Lydia! Yes, I live in a nearby city and have seen those millions of bats in Austin. Breathtaking scene when they fly out for their evening feeding.
Loved this card! Yes, we always need the four legged inspectors to help us out and keep us straight. I have Rascal George.
