Video: Butterfly Birthday Card using Colored Stamping (+Ink Pad Organization Tips)
Are you a fan of butterfly? To be honest, I'm not. But I really wanted to play with Butterfly Pair Stamp & Cut as it includes very interesting dies in the set.
I started by stamping the butterfly images from Butterfly Pair Stamp & Cut and Mason Jar Bugs to create my own background.
Here are the Bold Ink pads I used for my colored stamping: Tangerine, Mulled Wine, Strawberry, Dandelion and Summer Sky.
Then I colored the images with Copic markers and added some shimmer on the wings using Wink of Stella. It's a shame you can't see the wings shimmering with glitters. They are beautiful in real life.
After die cutting two butterflies using dies from Butterfly Pair Stamp & Cut, the sentiment was heat embossed on a piece of yellow cardstock from Sunshine Mix Layering Papers using white embossing powder.
I love that the dies cut wings only. It created some beautiful dimension and shadows under the wings. To finish off my card, I added some clear sequins.

This is a video showing you how I created my card. You can watch the video tutorial here or in HD on YouTube. I'm also sharing how to organize ink pads in the video. Hope you enjoy watching it.
That's all for today. Hope you loved my butterfly card and got some inspiration to try your own. Thank you so much for stopping by. Happy crafting!
