Using Small Images to Create A Focal Point

Hello there, Michelle here and today I am sharing a card using the Cowboy Life set. There are some wonderful larger images in the set but I really wanted to use some of the smaller ones on my card today. I decided to create a little grouping as a focal point for a good luck card.

Good Luck Horseshoe by Michelle Short for Hero Arts

I started off by taking a white card base and stamping the two smaller floral cluster images on to it using Intense Black Ink. I added a strip of masking tape in the centre of them when inking them up, so that I had space to stamp the horseshoe in the middle. I coloured these very simply using Copic Markers.

I took the horseshoe image from the set and stamped this on to a separate piece of white cardstock using Versamark Ink. I applied silver embossing powder and heat set. Using the Cowboy Life Frame Cuts, I die cut it out. I took the sentiment from the set and stamped this below the flowers, again with Intense Black Ink. The horseshoe was then added on with foam tape.

Thank you so much for stopping by today, happy stamping!
