United As One: Special Guest Dana Joy
Hero Arts
Today we are thrilled to welcome one half of the dynamic duo we collaborated with on the United As One stamp set - Dana Joy! Be sure to come back tomorrow when Pocono Pam will be here on the blog. And also make your way to the end of this post to find links to other talented artists joining us today. But first - take it away, Dana!
Hey everyone. It’s Dana Joy here with you today. I’m thrilled to be sharing a tutorial using the newly released United As One stamp set. The partnership stamp set with Hero Arts, Pocono Pam and myself is the first set in the unity collection. This stamp set has such a powerful message with sentiments and hands of friendship. Watch the video below to learn more about the stamp set as I create my projects.

For my cards today I kept the designs simple to really focus on the powerful images and sentiments in this set. For my first card I started by stamping out the large heart in Strawberry Ink. Next I placed the outline hands image inside the heart and stamped it using Intense Black Ink. I colored the image with Copic markers. I lightly outlined the image with Copic markers as well to make the hands stand out.
For added detail I used my black micron pen to add faux stitching around the panel and added a few red sequins using Precision Glue. To finished off this card I layered this piece onto Pitch Black Cardstock, added two strips of Cherry Cardstock to border the image and placed this completed panel on a white card base.
My second card I used the layering hands from the stamp set. Using various shades of brown and tan inks I was able to create this lovely silhouette of hands. I repeatedly stamped hearts in the same inks to surround the hands. To finish off this panel I stamped out one of the sentiments from the stamp set under the hands. I layered this panel onto rust colored cardstock and placed it on a white card base.
Hope you enjoyed the cards and tutorial today.
