A Great Big Merry Christmas to You!
Hello everybody! It's Maria here and I hope you're having a great day. Today I've got a bright and happy Christmas card featuring the Color Layering Merry Christmas and Argyle Pattern Bold Prints stamps. This is a pretty easy card to make and I think it could easily be mass produced as well if you're looking to make a bunch of Christmas cards at once.
I started out by cutting a piece of Kiwi cardstock to 4.25" x 5.5" and stamping it in Embossing & Watermark ink with my MISTI. Once it was dry I used a white Posca paint pen to add white dots to the center of each diamond for a little more interest. You could also do this with a white gel pen.
Next, I heat embossed the solid Merry Christmas sentiment stamps in White Puff Embossing Powder onto Mist cardstock. To help line the two stamps up I first drew a circle using the outside of a circle die. After I heat embossed, I used that same circle die to cut out the sentiment. I ink blended the edges of the circle with Blue Hawaii Reactive ink and left the center of the circle lighter in color. I wanted the white lettering to pop out a little bit more so I added a drop shadow first with a light gray marker and then again with a blue pencil. That helped make the sentiment pop a bit more.
Note: for this card I did not use the second layer of the Merry Christmas sentiment stamps.
I watercolored some of the florals from the Holly Berries stamp set using Reactive inks in Key Lime Fizz and Green Apple. The berries were colored using Raspberry Jam dye ink. After they were dry I cut them out with the coordinating dies. After that, all I had to do was glue my background to a card base and adhere the sentiment and holly berries on top with foam tape.
And, that is it! It's a pretty easy card to put together but I think the colors are fun and eye-catching if you're looking for something a little bit different.
I hope you all have an amazing day with tons of time to craft. If you have a second, leave me a comment below and let me know if you've started your holiday cards or not... or if you even make and send holiday cards, lol!
Bye for now and have an awesome day!

That stamp would be perfect for the front of an infinity card.
