Stamped Christmas Wrapping + Mason Jar Ornaments
Happy December! I decided to take a break from making my holiday cards and put some holiday stamps to use on a few non-card projects.
First up a fun gift wrapping idea! For smaller special presents, I think it's fun to create custom stamped wrapping paper. I like to keep rolls of plain white and kraft wrapping paper on hand just for this reason. You can also use copy paper or other lightweight papers.
The gift on the left uses the From the Vault Christmas Tree stamp for the background and the Merry Little Christmas stamp for the message.
The gift on the right uses the From the Vault Poinsettia image for the background and I created a tag using the Joy Stamp & Cut.
I finished off the gifts with some ribbon, greenery and tiny ornaments.
Next, I created a cute ornament using the ring of a mason jar lid.
For the striped background, I trimmed 1/4" strips of red and green cardstock and adhered them to a piece of copy paper. Then I used the Nesting Circle Infinity Dies to cut a circle that matched the size of the lid.
Next, I white heat embossed the Season's Greetings sentiment on the circle and then adhered this piece inside the lid using the Crystal Clear Lacquer Pen. If you are giving the ornament as a gift, make sure to write a note and the year on the backside of the ornament! That way when they pull out the ornament each year, they can read your message and remember who gave it to them.
I finished off the ornament with some red pom pom trim and twine.
I hope you enjoyed these projects and are inspired to use your holiday stamps in a new way.
Have a great day!
