Stamp & Craft LIVE : November Hero Studio Card Kit

Our next Stamp & Craft event is this Sunday (11/23)! Grab your supplies and craft along with Channin as she creates two projects with the new Hero Studio November 2025 release.

This card features the November Card Kit. In addition to the card kit the following supplies will be used.


Supplies:

Instructions:

  1. Trim down the Seaside cardstock to create an A2 panel (4 1/4" x 5 1/2").
  2. Place the panel onto a stencil mat or grip mat and then place stencil 1 from the November Layering Stencils of the Month Set over panel.
  3. Ink-blend over the stencil with Arctic Core Ink with a large blending brush. Remove stencil.
  4. Place stencil 2 over the panel and then ink-blend with Paradise Core Ink. Remove stencil.
  5. Place stencil 3 over panel and then ink-blend with Green Apple Core Ink. Remove stencil.
  6. Place stencil 1 back onto the panel and then ink-blend a few of the books with Bermuda Core Ink. Remove the stencil and this step for stencil 2 and 3.
  7. Place stencil 4 over the panel and then apply Hero Paste over the stencil with a palette knife. Remove stencil and clean with water. Set panel aside to dry
  8. With the dies from the November Card Kit, die cut the hands out of Fawn cardstock and all the parts for the book out of Peridot, Waterfall, Seaside and Classic White cardstocks.
  9. Adhere all the book details to the book and then adhere the hands onto the book. Use tape to hold the pages to the book cover. 
  10. Stamp a "books are my" and "happy place" sentiments from the card kit in Intensi-fied Black Ink onto white cardstock. Die cut the sentiments out with the coordinating dies.
  11. Adhere the dried panel to the front of an A2 top-folding white card base with a tape runner.
  12. Adhere the book and sentiments to the card front with foam adhesive.

Bonus Project: Create a magnetic bookmark with the November Stamp & Cut of the Month.

Supplies:

  • November Stamp & Cut of the Month
  • Intens-ified Black Ink
  • Classic White Cardstock
  • Die-cutting Machine
  • Low-Tack Tape
  • Stamp Positioning Tool, ex. MISTI
  • Craft Knife or Paper Trimmer
  • Ruler
  • Pencil and eraser
  • Tape Runner
  • Scor Tape
  • Alcohol Markers (Copics: Background -BG11, BG32 + BG13; Book Cover & Butterflies - BBG49 + BG09; Pages - BG11; Stems - YG03 + G43; Pink Flowers - R11 + R22 and Y21 + YR23; Yellow Flower - Y21 + YR23 and R22; Frame - YG03, G14 + G07)
  • Magnetic Sheet
  • Heat Tool

Instructions:

  1. Stamp the arched, book with florals image from the November Stamp & Cut set in Intensified Black Ink onto white cardstock.
  2. Use a heat tool to thoroughly dry the ink and then color the image in with alcohol markers.
  3. Die cut the image out with the coordinating die.
  4. Trim down some white cardstock to create a strip measuring 3" x 6".
  5. With the strip vertical, place the coordinating die that you used to die cut your image out at the bottom left corner. Hold the die in place and trace around it with a pencil.
  6. Remove the die and flip it 180 degrees and place it at the upper left corner of the strip of cardstock. Hold the die in place and then trace around it.
  7. With a ruler draw two lines connecting the two traced die cuts, with about an inch between the lines.
  8. Place cardstock strip and the die into one of the traced framed onto your die-cutting plates. Place the top plate only partially over the die leaving the upper 1/4" of the die uncovered and run it through your die-cutting machine. Repeat this step for the other traced arch.
  9. Once both arches are partially cut, use a craft knife or a paper trimmer to cut along the two drawn in lines to create a strip connecting the two arches. Use scissors to cut the bookmark free from the remainder of the cardstock
  10. Adhere the colored die cut to book marks and then fold the bookmark in half.
  11. Trim down some of the adhesive magnetic sheet to create two rectangles measuring 1" x 1 1/2".
  12. Stick the two magnets together and then add Scor tape one of the magnets. Adhere the magnet to the inside of the bookmark.
  13. Add Scor tape to the other magnet and the close the bookmark to adhere the magnet to the other side.
