Soft Snowflakes

Hello there, Michelle here. Today I have a card using the new Stacking Snowflakes stamp set, along with the Delicate Snowflakes Bold Prints that are add-ons for the October My Monthly Hero Kit

I started off by die cutting a white panel. I cut a panel of white cardstock to 4.25" x 5.5" and then using a Nesting Oval Infinity Die (I used the largest size), I partially die a rounded edge at the bottom of the panel. I took the Stacking Snowflakes set and stamped one of the larger snowflakes in to the middle with Soft Purple Shadow Ink. I then took one of the smaller ones and stamped this in to the centre with Soft Pool Shadow Ink. I stamped the sentiments on top with Intense Black Ink. I love that the sentiments are separate so you can mix and match your own greeting.

I took a panel of aqua cardstock and stamped the Delicate Snowflake Bold Prints on to it with Versamark Ink. I applied clear Ultra Fine Embossing Powder and heat set. I took an ink blending tool and blended Soft Pool Shadow Ink on to it, concentrating the colour at the bottom and the edges. The panel was added to a white A2 card base and then the greeting panel added on top with foam tape.

I love using pastel colours for Christmas cards, how about you? Thank you so much for visiting today, happy stamping!

Really like your card. It’s getting hard to find (and make) cards that can be sent in the mail without all the extra postage.
