Snow and Froth Technique Kit

Good morning! Emily Midgett here with you today sharing some inspiration using the new Snow and Froth Technique Kit!  In this kit, you receive both the Crystal Lacquer and the White Puff embossing powder, which, when combined, create a super unique and fun effect for your cards! Let's get started with the details of my project.

To begin, I die cut the Paper Layering Neighborhood die from white card stock and layered it on an A2 card base, also white. I really wanted that white, textured background to help make the Snow and Froth kit pop. To use this kit, I first added dabs of the Crystal Lacquer where I wanted there to be snow (on the roofs of houses, trees, etc), then sprinkled on the White Puff embossing powder and heated it up with my heat tool. While heating, the combination of the two products makes a super puffy, bubbled texture that looks just like snow! I used the same technique and products on a strip of white card stock, first adding an abundance of Crystal Lacquer to the strip, swirling it around with my finger to spread it out, then covering it with White Puff embossing powder and heating it up. Such a cool technique and unique texture!

To add a pop of color to my project, I die cut and stamped Warm Animals using Intense Black ink, then colored them in with my Copics. I wanted to keep the emphasis on the Snow and Froth textures, so I kept the layout fairly simple, with just a few pops of color from the cute little critters.

Next, I stamped the greeting from Warm Animals on some strips of white card stock. I mounted all of the die cut pieces and the snowy strip on the card front using dimensional foam adhesive.

Well, that's all for me today! I just love how much texture this super fun Snow and Froth technique adds to this card front, don't you? And it's perfect for snow, froth on the top of a coffee cup, foam on the beach... so many possibilities! Thanks so much for stopping by, and have a marvelous day!
