Slimline New Year’s Card with Number Fancy Dies
Hello! Jen here today sharing a New Year’s card made with the large number fancy dies and the fun little Peeking Penguin Fancy Die that adds a little whimsy to elegance. The number fancy dies are one of my favorite products. I love that they include not only large and small numbers but the words as well!
1. Cut a piece of Deluxe Smooth White Cardstock to 3 1/2” x 8 1/2”. Blend on Paradise, Bermuda, Aquatic and Nautical Core Inks.
2. Splatter panel with Gold Glimmer Metallic Ink and set aside to dry.
3. Die cut the Number Two, Number Five and Number Zero Fancy Dies from Deluxe Smooth White Cardstock and gold glitter cardstock in the Glitter Paper Holiday Sparkle Pack. Cut the two twice each time. Adhere together with Precision Glue to make die cuts sturdier as they will be adhered with foam tape.
4. Die cut the Peeking Penguin Fancy Die from Deluxe Smooth White Cardstock. Color with alcohol markers.
5. Adhere the inked panel to a slimline card base then add die cut numbers with thin foam squares.
6. Add the die cut penguin with a combination of Precision Glue and thin foam squares.
7. Emboss the sentiment from Holiday Season Messages Bundle with Embossing and Watermark Ink and White Detail Embossing Powder. Blend on Bermuda and Paradise Core Ink and cut out with coordinating die.
8. Adhere sentiment to card and finish with Aquas Translucent Hero Hues Enamel Dots.
You could skip the penguin's hat if you are worried about it sticking above the card but the slimline envelopes I have are 4” wide so I had a little space.
