Big, bold, and beautiful – that's how we would describe the sunflower that plays a starring role in this month's kit. It's a dream to color as a line art image and we have a fun technique twist this month as well. Have you guessed? Some of these sunflowers were colored with inks and a series of easy-to-use layering stencils! It's all included in the kit. The team will be back to share additional peeks on Saturday and Sunday, so you'll be able to see even more of the wonderful layering and coloring possibilities.
WIN A KIT BEFORE YOU CAN BUY IT: Just leave a comment on this (and every) Countdown to Creativity post. We’ll randomly draw one lucky winner from comments left across all countdown posts on the Hero Arts blog. The winner will be announced first thing Tuesday morning, September 7, before the kit launches at 10am Pacific. The more you comment, the more chances to win. Good luck!
Happy stamping,
The sunflowers & colors are gorgeous! Perfect for welcoming the fall season. I’m excited to see more projects.
Sunflowers are perfect for Fall. When I worked at a plant nursery at end of the Fall season they removed the remaining scraggily Sunflowers from the store and allowed us to take home what we wanted. I took home several, planted them, gave them TLC and they flourished for quite some time. Was nice. I have what are called Cacula plants that I also got and they are still alive and doing well. Brings back memories of 5+ yrs ago of working at the plant nursery.

That really is a fun twist – layering stencils! I have many favorite HA stencils that I enjoy using, but this technique would be a new one to try!
Beautiful! I am very excited to see the rest of the kit.
Wow! These cards are stunning. I cant wait to see more of this month’s kit.
