Saturdays with Sally: If You Give a Girl a HEART...
What a dream assignment I received! Play with the new Hero Transfers for Valentine’s Day and make some SIMPLE designs! REALLY??? That had MY NAME (and heart) on it! I could have played forever with these cool transfers. No ink, no mess and FAST! I am showing you several possibilities and will give you instructions for a few.
I used Hugs and Kisses Hero Transfers for all the cards. These transfers are effortless and easy. I used mostly Antique Ivory and Cranberry cardstocks for the cards. I felt like the Antique Ivory cardstock enhanced the stickers better than white.
Take Heart Flourish Cover Plate and Antique Ivory cardstock to make the lacy card. Apply transfer. Glue to a Cranberry card.
Make a smaller Valentine with the "LOVE" transfer on Antique Ivory, backed with Coral. Add several small heart dies using Nesting Hearts Infinity Dies and Cranberry, Coral and gold glitter paper. Mount with glue and foam tape.
The other small Valentine uses the transfers for the words, and 3-D hearts made by stapling two different colored hearts together.
The striped hearts up on the first photo were made with Stripe Stencil. AND my bonus tip of the day is to use Dawn Power Wash spray to clean your stencils. After stenciling, spray them in the sink, let them sit, and the ink magically releases.
Let your hearts be your guide and have a great Valentine’s Day!
