Saturdays with Sally - Gift Card Holders Galore
Hi friends! I am back with some fun ideas for our latest Stay Crafty with Hero Challenge to create gift card holders. It was so fun to get creative with ways to hold gift cards. And my love of dies is quite evident in these projects!
Let’s begin with the t-shirt. I love a good shaped card! I began by stamping Cobblestone Bold Prints in Tangerine Ink on Papaya and Azalea cardstocks. Next, I die cut two shirts with the largest die from T-Shirt Infinity Dies. I cut the Azalea one straight across at the armholes. Using the Nesting Circle Infinity Dies, I rounded the top edge, then adhered it to my base Papaya t-shirt. I stamped "for you" from Happy Thanks Stamp & Cut XL in Black Ink, and embellished with a tiny heart.
For the next gift card holder, the base is a notecard I created with Arctic cardstock. I stamped one side with Abstract Linocut Bold Prints in Antigua Ink, then stamped again in the opposite direction to make a “mesh” design. Next, I folded it in half, then cut out semi-circle with a circle die. For the message, I die cut three "thanks" from Paradise cardstock, gluing one onto another to get some thickness. I added a small die cut circle and button for “opening” tab, with a round velcro tab for holding it closed.
The final card was something I created for a gift card on Valentine’s Day. But, as you know, I love hearts all year long, so I made this generic one to show another option. I stamped the heart background from All My Hearts Peek-a-Boo Parts on a Dove White card in Black. The message die from Big Hugs Stamp & Cut was cut from Cherry cardstock. Stamp the heart background again on a half panel, and glue to the inside on the three outer edges, leaving the top open for the gift card. Die cut a Cherry heart from Nesting Heart Infinity Dies and stamp "you're the best" in black, then adhere inside the card as shown. Punch holes on the side and insert ribbon to tie. Embellish as desired!
So, hopefully I have inspired you to get up and create SOMETHING. Let me know which one you like the best!!! And get your creative juices going and create your own gift card holder - you have until March 11 to join our challenge!!

Have the t-shirt die set. Will look to see what stamp to use and will make a gift card similar.

What fun ideas. I really love the last card with the pocket. Fun way to give someone a little present or if you want to give cash money as a present.
