Saturdays with Sally - Circular Gift Card Holders
Ahhhhh… it’s that time of year! Gift cards and $$$$$ for your family, friends and workers. I thought I would show you some great, easy card or money holders made from our Nesting Circle Infinity Dies. Which also coincides with this month's Stay Crafty with Hero challenge to use CIRCLES!
I chose the largest circle from the die set for all of these to accommodate the size of most gift cards. All three are made from 2 circles.
Let’s start with the red one first. Cut two large circles from Cranberry cardstock, cutting the top off one of the circles. Then cut out the swirl from Large Snowflakes and Swirls four times from the bronze paper in the Glitter Paper Fall pack. I used the ornament hanger from Ornaments Infinity Dies, but look through your stash and see if you have any ornament cap dies that might work. Adhere everything together, trimming off the edges if necessary.
The “merry” gift card is first stamped with Swirl Bold Prints in Aquatic ink on Bermuda cardstock. The letters come from the Very Merry Christmas Cover Plate die, and are cut from gold Glitter Paper.
The thanks card uses two colors, Dove White and Kiwi. For this one, I used a smaller circle die to cut out a chunk of the white circle. Die cut "thanks" from Happy Thanks Stamp & Cut XL. The holly leaves were cut from green scraps using the Paper Layering Poinsettia dies, and the berries are just three small circle dies. I LOVE using scraps!!!!
I also included a ROUND CIRCLE ornament I made at 11 last night because I was looking at reels on IG… another fun thing for circles… if I only had more than 24 hrs a day…!
Now that I've shared all of this circle inspiration, how about you join the challenge and join the CIRCLE of fun!!! Entries for the Stay Crafty with Hero Circle challenge are due by January 13th at 5pm PT.
Until next year, Happy Holidays!!!
