Video: Repeating Pattern with Tiling Textures
Hey everyone it's Dana here with you today. I'm going to be sharing with you how to make a repeating design or pattern using the Tiling Textures stamp set. This stamp set is really unique as you can create wonderful backgrounds for your cards or mixed media project with each tile.

So let's begin. Using a piece of Dove White cardstock, I masked off a side portion of the panel using purple tape. The section masked off was the width of the tile I was going to use. Next it was time to add some Gold Hero Wax to this left portion of the card panel. By using the Hero Tools Palette Knife I was able to create a clean and even layer of wax. I set this panel aside and worked on my bees.
Using the Beelieve stamp set, I stamped out three bees in Intens-ified Black ink onto Dove White carstock. To color in my little bees, I used Copic markers in the colors of Y18, Y35 and Y38. For the wings I used Copic marker BG10 for a little shading color. Once the bees were colored, I used the coordinating Beelieve Frame Cuts and my Hero Arts Compact Cutter to die cut each bee.
Now it was time to stamp out my pattern. I removed the purple tape from my dried card panel and lined up the tile towards to top of the waxed area. For a crisp black tile, I stamped the image in Intens-fied Black ink. To keep the pattern going, I shifted up the paper until the tile lined up right below the first one and stamped it again in black ink. Repeating this same process until the entire waxed area was covered with the pattern.
Now it was time to assemble the card. First I stamped a sentiment from the Beelieve stamp set on the white area of my card panel. Using foam squares I added three bees on the gold wax area. Adding a Pitch Black cardstock backer really makes the panel pop. The panel was then placed on a Dove White Top Folded Card. To finish off the card, I added a few gold dots with Gold Hero Pearls.
