Rainbow Foiling

Good morning! Jess here with a card to brighten your day! Today I'm using the Bold Graphic Hot Foil Plate and some rainbow foil to create an encouragement card.

I'll admit I'm not great at foiling...it's definitely not my forte. But a little rainbow foil and a bold design goes a long way in hiding any mistakes! I start by foiling the Bold Graphic Hot Foil Plate onto an A2 panel of Pitch Black cardstock with rainbow foil. The foiling isn't perfect in the center (one of my main issues with foiling is that I don't seem to get enough pressure in the center of the design) but I don't think it detracts from the overall effect! Once I was done I trimmed the foiled panel down to 3.75" x 5" and used foam mounting tape to adhere it to an A2 card base of Pitch Black cardstock.

For my sentiment I die-cut the large word from Love You Stamp & Cut XL from Pitch Black cardstock twice and Gold Glitter cardstock once.I layered them together with Precision Liquid Glue and then added a sentiment from the same set heat-embossed with Gold Embossing Powder. To finish the card, I used foam mounting tape to adhere the smaller sentiment and Precision Liquid Glue for the word die.

I love how the sparkly sentiment stands out on its own but that rainbow really shines! It's like a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow! ;)

Thanks so much for stopping by and have an amazing week!
