Pineapple Palooza Day 2

Pineapple Palooza continues today with another fantastic batch of cards using the [hero_product_link sku="CL976" text="Color Layering Pineapple"] stamp set! And just like yesterday, our Creative Team is showing how you can pair the set with some unexpected ink colors to create some really unique designs.

Here's Jayne to kick things off: "Sometimes it's fun to break the rules! So, even though I love beautiful fruit images stamped in traditional colors, I couldn't resist stamping a pineapple with a few summery, floral shades. I used each of the four inks in the [hero_product_link sku="AF353" text="Blush"] ink pack to stamp this playful and feminine pineapple. It's bright, bold, and unexpected  a delightful combination that I surprisingly love! The simple monochromatic color palette, paired with a few small pops of brown, makes this pineapple shine!"

Next up is Clare with an anything-but-ordinary pineapple that we just love: "'Well, this should be interesting.' These were my first thoughts about making a pineapple card using [hero_product_link sku="AF350" text="my purple and yellow"] color scheme, and boy, did it turn out to be true! Not only was it interesting, but it was so fun! And look how pretty this purple pineapple turned out! Now I'm inspired to pull out more of my Color Layering stamp sets and stamp using unintended color combos!"

And finally, Kelly shares: "I was excited (and a bit apprehensive) to try out [hero_product_link sku="AF356" text="my ink cube pack"] with the Pineapple Color Layering set, but I am beyond thrilled with the results. How fun is a pink pineapple!?! I used Ultra Pink, Raspberry Jam and Black ink for the pineapple. And the leaves were stamped with Tide Pool, Emerald Green and Black ink. Another option instead of the black ink would be to use VersaMark and white heat emboss the top layer. It would give the image a totally different look! I encourage you to just experiment and see what new fun looks you can come up with! Also, the [hero_product_link sku="SA073" text="Asian Flower Pattern Stencil"] that I used for the background pairs great with the Pineapple Color Layering set. I just tinted white embossing paste with a yellow ink and smeared it over the stencil to create the textured background."
